Typö is a mobile-first app concept that allows creators to recognise typography using their smartphone camera or screenshots instantly. By combining text recognition, AI-powered font analysis, and a curated font database, the app delivers real-time font suggestions from both physical and digital sources.
Creators often find inspiring typography in everyday places.
On packaging, posters, books, magazines, or screens, but identifying those fonts is rarely immediate. Existing tools are slow, manual, or not designed for mobile use, interrupting the creative flow right at the moment inspiration strikes.
The goal is to help designers capture typographic inspiration in the moment effortlessly and transform what they see into something they can immediately use.
